'Clay/Works' Ceramics Ireland Annual Members Exhibition - Dublin Castle

July 8-29th, 2018

In July, I introduced some new work for the Ceramics Ireland members exhibition which was held in Dublin Castle.

'Perfection within Imperfection' is another form of my 'Words in Porcelain' collection. However, with a more rugged finish. I love how the Porcelain looks like torn paper for this new raw look I've created.

These Porcelain words lie on a peculiar shaped piece of driftwood... peculiar but perfect for the chosen words...

'keramik panorama' EXHIBITION - Murten, SWITZERLAND

Sept 2-4, 2018

Back in April 2018, I was delighted to get the news that the Swiss jury chose this Irish artist to exhibit at Keramik Panorama, where 100 ceramists and potters from Switzerland and Europe presented their creations. Being the only Irish Ceramic Representative, this was a great experience on the beautiful setting of Lake Murten.

'A PORTRAIT IN FLESH' EXHIBITION - STUDIO 10 GALLERY, DUBLIN

As the Sothebys auction in London highlighted, Bowie was an incredibly avid collector of art, and this exhibition is dedicated to the artistic palette and how it has captured Bowies many facial expressions and personas over the years. I had the pleasure in exhibiting two 'Words in Porcelain' pieces for this wonderful commemoration of Bowie, with 'The Man who Sold the World' and 'Space Oddity' immortalised forever in Porcelain.

Exhibition at Newbridge Silverware showcasing work by a group of wonderfully diverse artists, and I am so glad to be part of this collaboration. With the spec of upcycling factory floor waste from Newbridge Silverware, integrated with each artists own unique style, the diversity yet cohesion of this exhibition is a wonderful success.
