'hold on tight...'

"a mother holds her children's hands for a while, but their hearts forever"

Today, for Mothers Day, I made something special with my little boy Jonah - Our holding hands cast in plaster.

I first learned this technique when I was studying Sculpture, part-time, at night in NCAD. I was mesmerised! And today was equally so, when I could see how Jonah found it so magical!! I know we won't be holding hands forever, but this will act as a reminder to the days we did. 😍
