This is the face of my little man who is as proud as punch with what he created. And I'm an equally proud mama!
At the Keramik Panorama ceramics exhibition in Murten, Switzerland (1 & 2 September 2018), Jonah got to make a most amazing keepsake. There was a stand there with a taster raku instant firing.
He was given an undecorated bisque bowl, and got to decorate it himself with colours and glazes of his choice. It was such an engaging and magical process.
He got to witness it being fired, and after approx 20mins of the bowl being fired at 1000°C, it was removed from the wood fire and cooled on dust.
This is for sure a keeper! Thank you Stefan Jakob - Raku master!
